Crawling out from under my rock

Well, as a new mother of three with our home now officially on the market (how's that for timing?) I have definitely been MIA. Elizabeth is growing and changing a little every day. I'm already getting nostalgic knowing that the newborn phase will be gone before I know it. I love the cuddling, her cute stretches, how she crouches up like a potato bug on me at night, and all those little squeeks. She is going through a definite crying peak right now! She sleeps well at night (thank goodness) because she wears herself out all day. Sometimes my ears start ringing--and the boys get so frustrated because I can't give them very much attention right now. Sometimes they have to repeat themselves several times because I can't hear them with the howling! Phew--it's defintely a new development. But she's just so dang cute we all want to eat her up at the same time.

Anyway, here's a peak at Elizabeth in her blessing dress. I think we'll wait until we're visiting family in Salt Lake in early May to bless her, but I had to try it on her. Hope it still fits by then! Also, we can't forget to post a picture of our recent missionaries--especially dear old Elder Foster. He's seven foot something or other and Henry talks about him every day. Forget yard sticks--HE is the standard of measurement in our home. Henry: "Mom, is that tree as big as Elder Foster?" etc. etc. Apparantly, he will be returning home (I think he's from California?) right about when we move to Salt Lake. The good news is, he plays b-ball for the Utes. You can count on us to be there when he tears it up on the court. Can't wait for Henry and Cannon to see it!

I love pictures of Harland and Elizabeth. She's daddy's little girl!

and lots and lots of empathy too.

Oh my goodness, she is a beauty. I hope she keeps the dark hair!

Wish we weren't so far away. Congrats on selling your home. I'm not surprised... it's such a fantastic house. Keep us posted on where you end up in SL!

So you're really moving, then? :( Your baby girl is adorable and I CAN'T wait to meet her! Our home (or rather our kids) is/are now officially germ and sickness-free so we need to do a playdate!

Jackson also talks non-stop about Elder Foster! Since meeting him he has added in his prayers, "A-bless I grow up and be like a BIG missionary..."

Elizabeth is darling. MIA for many good reasons. You have a lot of demands right now... hang in there and good luck... We'll be seeing you soon!

She is such a cutie Heath! What an exciting time at your house! Take full advantage of your last spring in NC. We miss the South desperately.
Hope to see you in SLC soon!!!

I know just what you mean about the newborn phase ending all too soon--I love tiny, cuddly, sleep anywhere, curled up babies!

I am so excited about your move this summer. Have you sold your home in NC then? Such a hassle to list your home and then keep it mess and clutter free for people to come see. Hopefully it will be (or was) a short a process for you.

Love miss Elizabeth. She and Olivia will be the best of friends (if only they could have 5 of their 7 classes together on their first day of jr high and start writing notes to each other...;)

It's Joni. I found your blog through Suzi's. We are living pretty parallel. I just had my 3rd in January and we just put our house up on the market too. A little stressful, but much better now that our baby is sleeping. Good to see what you have going on. Your kids are super cute.
